Remembrance Day services

The 2020 Anzac Day services were scrapped – as far as mass gatherings were concerned. Caloundra RSL Sub Branch President Geoffrey Gardiner laid a wreath at the Cenotaph in our Memorial Garden, witnessed at a distance by about half a dozen veterans, and of course the bugler who sounded the Last Post and Reveille.
At this stage there is no indication of what will happen on Remembrance Day, November 11, this year, but we remain hopeful that the pandemic will be beaten, at least to the extent that full commemorative services will be held.
